The 2022 NFL season is all but over for the Raiders. With a 4-7 record going into December, the Raiders have to win out, 6 in a row (8 in all) to stand a chance of making the playoffs. It is a hill too high to climb  But there is a glimmer of hope.  Two consecutive wins (how good does that feel to say) against the Broncos and Seahawks combined with very a obvious happy locker room suggests that Josh McDaniels' planning and strategy is taking hold in the organisation. The season is not yet complete and challenges lie ahead but all of a sudden the future is looking brighter for Josh McDaniels and the Raiders 

Raiders GM Dave Ziegler made a catastrophic mistake in building the Raiders roster this past off-season. Ziegler splashed big on Davante Adams, Chandler Jones, Rock Ya Sin et al. But he completely ignored the offensive and defensive lines aka the trenches. The Raiders have been abject in both departments. It's akin to building a house with no foundations. Ziegler essentially bought some sports cars for the driveway but forgot to put walls on the house. Now the whole structure has come crashing down and his sports cars are ruined.  From ownership to coaching, from players to the GM, the Raider organisation has let the fans down again and again. The latest incarnation is no exception.  Another rebuild now beckons and it's anybody's guess if Ziegler will be a part of it.
