Tottenham Hotspur's Project Restart - A Pessimists' View

Tottenham Hotspur Head Coach Jose Mourinho facing bleak end to the season

Before you read the below there is a caveat. I am a very pessimistic person. The glass is not so much half empty as there is nothing actually in it.

My predictions are based on my observation and analysis of the following facts:-

●We have an imbalanced squad
●A sizeable number of players have uncertain futures at the club
●If we lose early games, the pressure intensifies
●If we lose early games, the season is basically over and we have nothing to play for
●We lack quality fullbacks
●We lack a holding midfielder
●We have no second striker
●GLC is our only creative outlet. I have to assume Ndombele will continue his struggles.

Predictions For Tottenham's Final Nine Matches

Spurs 1 Man Utd 3

Spurs 2 West Ham 2

Sheffield United 2 Spurs 1

Spurs 3 Everton 2

Bournemouth 2 Spurs 2

Spurs 2 Arsenal 3

Newcastle 3 Spurs 3

Spurs 3 Leicester 1

Crystal Palace 3 Spurs 4

So that's a total of 12 points from a possible 27, a mid-table finish and, if I am honest,12 points is the high end of my prediction.

Remember, we are on a six match winless streak with our last win coming away to Aston Villa on the 16th February. Our last home win was on the 2nd February.

Be that is it may...Come On You Spurs šŸ˜„
