Tottenham Hotspur- The Season So Far

2nd Place
Tottenham Hotspur lie 2nd in the Premier League on 17 points after a very solid start to the season.

After an opening day defeat to Everton, Spurs are unbeaten in 7 games. Jose Mourinho's men have had impressive wins over Manchester United and Southampton and solid wins over Brighton and West Brom. Of course, Tottenham could be in clear 1st place were it not for frustrating home draws against West Ham and Newcastle where victory was squandered to last minute equalisers.

Star Players
Tanguy Ndombele has been a revelation this season rapidly becoming the fulcrum of the midfield. Harry Kane and Heung Min Son are the best strike partnership in the Premier League (Kane is world class) while Sergei Reguillon has emerged as a class act at left back.

Different Fixtures
Now for the bad news. Tottenham face a challenging series of fixtures in the month of November. Rarely have we had such a challenging series of fixtures in recent years.

If Jose Mourinho can steer Tottenham successfully through the next month, and Spurs still occupy a top 4 spot, then maybe, just maybe, Tottenham Hotspur will be Premier League challengers.
