Ryan Mason: Literally One of Our Own

Tottenham Hotspur will go into Sunday's League Cup Final with a rookie 29 year old in only his second game as manager.  I think we can call this unprecedented.  Ryan Mason's story is well known and extensively told. It is a truly remarkable rise for an unassuming, level headed, modern thinking, ego less, life long Spurs fan. In many respects the antithesis of Jose Mourinho.  Yesterday Mason was asked for his thoughts on the final by Alasdair Gold of Football London. His response was the response of a man who understands the history of Tottenham Hotspur.  "If we don’t get over the line on Sunday, we still have our identity and our DNA as a football club.
